So this evening I’ll be taking my first jaunt into the wild and wonderful world of Call of Duty: Black Ops, where former US Presidents tussle with creatures from the crypt, and secret interrogation chambers are stocked with top-down arcade shooters. I’ve read a fair bit about it, not so much out of curiosity as because lately it’s been difficult to read about anything else. I’ve heard about its new modes, like the one where everybody gets a single bullet, its surprising shortage of airport-massacre-level scandal, its new online currency system.
