If you haven’t yet bothered to pick up a copy of last year’s Biggest Selling Game in Japan – Dragon Quest IX – don’t bother. At least don’t bother until March 4th, because that’s when Square Enix is “shipping” the Ultimate Hits re-release version of the game at a saifu-friendly RRP of 2,940 yen. By the time it gets to Amazon/Yodobashi it’ll probably be more like 2,700 yen. And that, ladies and gents, is a bargain and a half: or, more specifically, it’s about half its current price.
