Hold the phone. Push Square‘s gone and posted fresh Last Guardian footage from the Tokyo Game Show. The vid is seven parts glossed-up dev commentary to three parts actual in-game material, in fairness, but towards the end you’re treated to a full thirty seconds of Ueda’s mysterious new “eagle” creature strutting its stuff.
It’s horribly evident that we’re going to adore this game. It’s also horribly evident that we’re going to be utterly gutted should the “eagle” or its boy companion snuff it – a strong probability, in light of previous Team ICO games.
Don’t know about you, but I’m booking a therapist in advance. Or at least I will when we get a release date.
